Last weekend, some of our friends threw us a lovely baby shower! With our baby girl arriving in just 2 months, it was such a treat to see an intimate gathering of friends from different walks of our lives to celebrate this upcoming baby Guava (our affectionate in-utero nickname), and share laughter and memories over a delightful afternoon tea! With hubby’s request that baby’s world not be covered in pink, we had a lavender and sage themed afternoon shower, with a touch of fairy dust thrown in. :)
Three of our friends gave their magical touches to bring this beautiful and delicious tablescape to life!
One of the very few things Dan had hoped to get our baby girl, was a StarTrek onesie, we were gifted 3 for different stages!

Being surrounded by pastel colored flowers makes me so happy…

I just created a list of things I’d regret on my death bed, if I didn’t get to do them in my life time:
Here they are so far:
- get a puppy
- ride a hot air balloon
- return to Egypt with Dan (I spent my preteen years there)
- visit and photograph Antelope Canyon, Arizona
- photograph a series of surviving with cancer, parent-child portraits (to give back to the reason I became a professional photographer)
- experience motherhood with as little regret as possible as my mother did
